Houjicha - Certified organically grown and processed, this houjicha is harvested in the autumn months. This particular tea is grown in the Kyoto and Kagoshimaprefectures. It’s crafted from parts of the tea plant (called bancha) that are leftover from making sencha. After it’s hand picked, it’s then roasted overcharcoal, giving it a really unique, smoky green tea flavour. The roasted tea leaves taste very different from other Japanese steamed green teas, like sencha. Most of the caffeine is removed in this roasting process which makes it a great relaxing drink.

GABA - This is a Spring harvest oolong from the Yu family tea garden, Nantou country in Central Taiwan. It is farmed organically and hand picked. GABA tea was a surprising discovery by Japanese scientists. The leaves are exposed to nitrogen (rather than oxygen) which causes the natural glutamic acid in the tea leaves to be converted to Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA). It’s also really unique tasting - lots of fruit and herbs with a buttery mouth feel and golden liquor.

Peppermint Leaf, organic - This vibrant loose leaf peppermint tea is grown in Egypt. It’s a great herbal option for those wanting to enjoy a hot drink and avoid caffeine. Peppermint is known and recommended by herbalists for helping digestion as well as calming, relaxing and minimising inflammation. It tastes bright and fresh with a lovely long finish.

Flowerbed, organic herbal blend - Flowerbed is a loose leaf blend of dried botanicals made by us. It’s carefully designed and balanced with certified organic ingredients. Chamomile is the main component, with added pink rose petals and lavender. It’s gentle, refreshing and comforting. Chamomile is said to have many health benefits, such as soothing inflammation or an upset stomach.
