This classic Chinese green tea is grown and harvested in Nanping Town, Simao District, Pu'er City, Yunnan. Made from one bud and two leaves, the fresh leaf is carefully picked, withered and loosely rolled before drying. The finished tea is characterised by its long, slender leaves and delicate silvery fuzz, a hallmark of the Mao Feng style. The producers are committed to organic farming practices and progressive methods of pest management, allowing them to grow tea with minimal intervention while maintaining the health of their gardens. In the cup, it is light and bright, with a soft buttery texture, gentle sweetness and subtle vegetal character that leads to a rounded, well-balanced finish.
